education & clinical work
Tim received his Masters degree in professional counseling from Liberty University in 1995. He became licensed as a professional counselor in Georgia while working for Rapha™ treatment centers in Atlanta in 1999. From 2003 until 2006 he worked on the staff of the Care Network™ for both North Point Community Church™ and Buckhead Church™. He was ordained as a minister by North Point in 2003. Tim also started and directed the Care Network ministry at Buckhead Church including the pre-marital, marriage enrichment and Divorce Care™ programs.
Tim left his staff position at North Point Community Church™ in 2006 and formed TACFM after seeing the overwhelming need for marriage preparation, intervention and enrichment. In addition to providing counseling, Tim wants to partner with local churches in the North Atlanta area to help them meet the needs of the couples in their congregations.
Tim is an adjunct faculty in the psychology department for Liberty University.
In addition to Tim's clinical work, he enjoys speaking at conferences and seminars. He was a guest on Moody Radio's Marriage and Family Today™ and was a workshop presenter at the American Association of Christian Counselor's World Conference™.
If you would like to meet with Tim to discuss the needs of the couples in your church, or if you would like to schedule Tim to speak at a marriage retreat, church service or Sunday school class, please contact Tim - 404-271-9009, firstname.lastname@example.org.
