Tim, thank you so much for helping my sister and her husband. They are doing so much better than I have seen them in many, many years. My sister really thinks you are a great counselor.

We have been to several counselors throughout our marriage. We hit a seemingly hopeless impasse in our relationship earlier this year and we again separated. It was then my brother-in-law suggested we talk to Tim. I began seeing Tim by myself in the hopes it would help me cope with our then separation. Tim was able to talk to my wife on the phone which allowed her the comfort of agreeing to joint sessions. We are still seeing Tim and have been for a few months and we believe we are well on our way to better communication, dealing with past issues in a healing way, and on the path to the happy marriage God intended for us.

My marriage is getting off on the right foot because of my sessions with Tim leading up to the wedding. He was able to teach my fiancée and I more effective ways to communicate, relate to each other, and love each other. I feel better equipped and prepared to enter into marriage having had counseling with Tim. He has given us the tools we need to be successful and combat any issues that should arise.

We came to Tim with a distressed marriage due to an overbearing mother-in-law. With Tim we have learned to set healthy boundaries with in-laws. Although it has been a difficult process, we have begun to redevelop connections with our extended family that are built on respect and consideration. We have also learned to resolve conflict with each other in a more productive way and to communicate more effectively.

Tim, today is our 3rd anniversary.  I have been reflecting a lot today, and wanted to thank you for being a part of our lives, and caring enough to help us through our tough season.  I don't know where we would be without you. I really appreciate you, and I know my wife does too.  God has done some truly amazing things in our lives, and I know He will continue to.

My fiancée and I received pre-marriage counseling from Tim Bouman. Tim led us through various sessions where we discussed the important areas of our relationship, such as faith, finances, family; all the areas where we needed to be in sync in order to have a successful marriage. We are very grateful for Tim, his wise counsel, and his prayers. We would highly recommend him to anyone considering marriage!

Tim, everyday I thank God for making you a part of our family, and you always will be. You helped us to save our marriage and we often talk about what a blessing you have been to us. Without your help I can not imagine what life would be like today. We will never forget the principles that you shared with us. I pray for you regularly, and ask that God may impact others relationships through your work, the way you have ours.
